I got mine from a person in my work who said I was sent from heaven, so I just used it as my username. Pretty cool huh!

Well this looks like a fun thread. Thanks for bumping it back up.

For me, I was so stuck as to what I should type my screenname as. With me, I usually pick make screennames that I think are so stupid later on, so I was having a tough time choosing one this time around for FoRT. After an hour or so (no, just kidding, it didn't take me that long ), I looked at the wall behind my computer, and on it, I taped a piece of paper with a schedule printed on it. It was for my old school, and my old school made us do the crosswalk thing (with the stop signs and all) right outside. It was a schedule for that. On the top it said "Crossing Guard Schedule", and I just said, "Ehh... whatever. I'll just go with that."

I enjoy reading about classical mythology, and I liked the passage in Ovid's Metamorphoses about the Phoenix. I also like X-Men, and Jean Grey turns into the Dark Phoenix. I didn't want to straight up copy the X-Men character, and so tried to think of another name that's a little different. Garnet is my favorite gem/my birth stone, but "GarnetPhoenix" didn't sound so cool to me, so I chose the other red gem ston... RubyPhoenix!
