Fort and another reality site are my only social networks. (Is this considered a social network??) So uncomplicated and easy to use! No Russian bots! Call me a Luddite, but I don't need anything more! Just my buddies here.

I would say that since the like buttons were added ten years ago, yes, this is a social media site. At one point, we even had blogs attached to our profiles. I liked that feature.

    Re: Social Networks

Thanks, Rosie dear. I have often wondered if this daily habit/compulsion of 15 years could be considered to be a 'social network' or not. I love that I can trust what I find here. And, well, it's 'family'. The many relationships I have found here are so important to me. It has been a comfort place from friends when I have needed comfort and has been a place to laugh, gossip and talk. (No Russian bots.) All I need! My social media!

I certainly consider you all to be part of my social network. I got huge support here through my cancer journey, and I care for those going through their own trials and tribulations.

I tried twitter, but I got bored with it fairly quickly.

I forget about twitter and Instagram unless there is a notice in my email. I haven't "tweeted" in a couple of years at least and don't take pictures, so only follow others; mostly reality people who post cute children pictures.

That's understandable. Those platforms are limited to people who want to do nothing but take pictures and video all day. Not everyone is interested in that.

Isn't it just the best thing ever?! It is the perfect solution when you don't want to remove someone as a friend but you're sick of their crap.

How many of you have made a Vero account? Is it the new hot thing?

A few weeks back I saw a lot of social media influencers making Vero accounts, so I was wondering is it the hot new thing or is not relevant? Do you have a profile there?
