    Last night when I was in town, gas was $3.27. If I would have gone 15 miles the other direction, it was $3.15. Mr. gracie is in northern Michigan for a week and he told me gas is $3.69 there. I've always known Michigan was a little different from Ohio.

    up until recently, michigan had the 2nd highest gas prices in the country, behind california.

    but thankfully, now it's hovering around $3.20 or so, depending on the city, here in southern michigan.

    We broke the $3.00 barrier today ...our gas is now $2.99.

    I don't need to fill up right now but I feel like going to buy a couple gallons so I don't miss out on the under $3 price! For some reason, we're fortunate here to have some of the lowest gas prices. I'm sure there is a reason but I have absolutely no understanding of how it all works.

    Definetly enviable. Until Ike, we had some of the lowest prices in the country. Because of the shortage problem here, we're still hovering around $3.58.
