I put 9 gallons into the car yesterday for a wonderful price of $45.67. Geeze that's more than I have ever wanted to spend on anything that doesn't go on my feet!
    Yup, with donuts!!

Thursday the price for E-85 was 3.60 per gallon. I decided to wait and yesterday (car was on low fuel warning) went by and it was 2.99! Go figure.
I very much believe in rescuing animals, not buying them.

    I know what you mean.

I know people are feeling the pinch. We had World War 3 last year on 4th of July. I had NEVER heard so many fireworks in my life in a neighborhood. This year, it was puny. My husband remarked that when you are putting that much money into the gas tank, there isn't a lot left to burn up on fireworks.

I don't know how much more we can cut back if gas continues to rise. There aren't many places in my budget to cut back on anymore.

    Re: Gas Prices

Beer has gone up $3 since this whole gas crisis has been going on. It's just a matter of time before we start to feel it with everything. What I don't understand is why the local grocery store doesn't have local produce. It makes very little sense to me because the gas alone to ship the produce from other countries or states has the prices rising!
    Yup, with donuts!!

We don't have the E-85, but 2.99 WOW! that is awesome! I just paid $4.58 for regular. It was down .03 from last week!!

(grocery stores that sell locally grown food so it will be cheaper, CA grown avocado's here in SoCal $1.25ea. Same brand avocado in Boise, Idaho, .50 cents cheaper at .75 cents each. )
