Sam's went down another .08 a gallon today. $3.40 for regular at one location, $3.37 at another. I've been calling my friends to tell them. My buddy put $100 in his truck. Sad isn't it?

Anyone considering buying a horse and some hay? I know I am!! They say it will get up to $5 a gallon over the summer because we aren't even using the barrels that cost so much yet!
    Yup, with donuts!!

    Re: Gas Prices

Well, I have been paying between $3.89 and $3.99 per gallon for over 5 months now... Granted, my Acura requires Premium grade AND I live in California - the land of the gas taxation to end all gas taxation. Unfrigginbelievable...

Do I show my age to admit that when I started out on my own, gas was considered a bit high at 0.99/gallon? I remember Mr. M and I struggling to come up with $5 to get us enough gas for the week...

Man, you are lucky. Our local warehouse stores (Sams, BJ's) already jumped up to the $3.75 mark and we are in the same state!

Man, I know I am not that old but when I first started driving gas was considered high if it was over $1.00 (that was in Texas so prices over the country were already well over $1.00 by that point).

Try .25 a gallon (yes that's a quarter) when I started driving and I remember it going own to .17 per gallon during gas wars. i got my license in 1966. And no it wasn't on a horse.

Here in my little region of the Northeast we're hovering around the 3.90 mark......I cried when I had to sell my Navigator last year but I can fill the car I have now for about half the price.
