Me either; remember when we flipped 'cause it went to $1.00 ?
I paid $2.04 today. Still, a big savings over a month ago.

$2.15 here and still falling...of course, it is a midterm election year and Republicans are trying to hold on to their seats. Gas prices will go back up mid-November.

    You guys are so lucky.
In the bay area, the lowest gas price is $2.51 and still sitting there since last week. I remember back in 2000 when it was $1.78, and everyone here thought it was ridicoulous.

On one of the local news stations tonight, they said that the national average right now for gas is $2.37/gal. We are at $2.67/gal. here.

Why so much higher than other parts of the country? Of course, taxes play a major part. NY and CA taxes are higher than other places in the country. But they also said that the reason we here in my area are paying more is that there are only so many wholesalers and they can basically set the price. Other areas in the country must have a lot more wholesalers and they can set a lower wholesale price.

Still, I am glad we are no longer in the $3.39 range!

We paid $1.99.9 here also (Southern NJ). I think some of the gas stations around here are having a gas war. No complaints here!
