I paid $2.89 today. The average price I saw out and about was $2.97.

It's up to $2.89 for regular up here. But then again, there's another gas station nearby that sells it for a much lower $2.87. Yuck.

Our prices are actually starting to go down a bit.
Before the hurricane, it was $2.62 at most stations around us, and then, over the course of 2-3 days, it went up to $3.19. However, the Walmart down the street continued to sell gas for $2.89 - even when every other station raised it. Just yesterday, though, I noticed that the "high" stations had lowered their price back down to $2.94.

I saw it for $3.39 at 7-11 today. That amazes me since prices elsewhere are going down, and I know the cheaper stations around here are at about $2.99.

It's so funny that $2.49 and $2.89 seem like such bargain prices now, last year we were paying $1.69 a gallon. Here in Mass the TOP HACKS had the cans to say that it is not in their power to drop the gas tax????? IT'S A STATE TAX??? This coming a month after we had a TAX FREE weekend for retail store that they hailed as a major BOOM to our economy????? tell me what is wrong here in HACKACHUSETTS??

$3.39 is the cheapest where I live. I went by two other places today one had gas for $3.59, the other for $3.49.![]()
Ours were back up to 2.99 today.I just don't get that. How does it go down and right back up?

Now that we have gas again, it's anywhere from $2.48 (Exxon) to $2.61 (WalMart) for regular. Though, last Saturday, I paid $2.79, but it was in the madness to refuel at any cost due to the serious shortage of gas.
Last night we paid $1.96 a gallon in Council Bluffs, Iowa. Prices are .10-.20 higher across the river in Omaha.
