I, too, heard (on the radio yesterday) that it should be "less than a dollar" by this time next year. Don't know that I believe it, but it is nice to dream!

I figure that the same people saying it will be less than a dollar by this time next year are the ones who were saying a couple of months ago that it would likely be above $6 by the end of the year. I'm not sure that their forecasting merits being listened to anymore!

What, you don't believe everything that "they" say? I'm amazed - I thought "they" were infallible!

I'm glad gas is going down in price but fear that as more people can afford to fill their tanks, the demand will go up again and so will the price.
    Yup, with donuts!!

Yesterday I filled my rental car up for 1.46 in the lovely town of Fargo, ND. It was 1.54 in Moorhead, MN.
I paid 1.76 this morning in back home here in No. Orange County Ca.

I will gladly pay the extra .30 per gallon to be able to pump gas without getting frost bite

It'd be nice if this could last for the long-term, but once the economy gets back on track, there's no way OPEC and such are going to let this last.

Dropped to 0.82 cents/litre here today. You people south of the border have no idea how good you got it.
