Someone at work told me that last time gas was $84/barrel or so , we were only paying about $1.89 at the pump. So why is it still so high?

Gas is $3.15 here.

We are currently at $2.51.

omigoodness, we finally dropped under $3 ... saw $2.99 on the way home from work. wohoooo!

We're around $4 a gallon and I'm cheering too. I don't think it has been this cheap in a while. $1.02/liter...it's been a while.

$3.35 is the lowest I've seen here in NYC.....if we hit anything under $3 I'm going to dance at the pump. NY is always amongst the last to drop their prices.

I paid $3.35 at Costco today - everyone else in town that I've seen is $3.49 to $3.59

I heard on the news that there are a couple of places in Chulajuana that have $2.99 gas, but most places I've seen in my 'hood are $3.40-ish.

$3.48 in my neck o the woods. If I ever saw anything under 3, I would probably convert to one of those people who shows up at the pump with every vehicle, motorized machine, gas can and mason jar I own
