Did you know that you swallow some air too, so that...
A healthy individual releases 3.5 oz. of gas in a single flatulent emission, or about 17 oz. in a day. Most is due to swallowed air. The rest is from fermentation of undigested food.
I have found the Truth and it doesn't make sense.

Budweiser beer is named after a Czech town

Brewers generally named a beer after their town with the suffix "er." Beers produced in the town of Plzen, for example, were called Plzners, or Pilsners. Busch and Conrad, the brewers, had visited another town, named Budweis. The name "Budweiser" is a locative, meaning "of Budweis." Thus the name Budweiser!

So, QueenB, if you brewed your own beer where you live, it could be called
    HillbillyvilleER Beer!

So pass that gas, or you will gain 388 pounds a year!

Ewww on the spider thing. Yes on the sneezing! I've tried.

Did you know that about 13% of people are left-handed?

In medieval times, left-handed people could not become knights because it was thought that they were descendants of the devil. Spiral staircases in castles ran clockwise to allow knights - all right-handed - to battle intruders effectively. The word for left in French means gauche, and in Latin it means sinister. The Latin word for right is dexter, from which came "dexterous.". Ambidextrous means literally "both right."

Animals also are either right-handed or left-handed. Polar bears are left-handed - and so is Kermit the Frog.

Unfortunately, I do not belong to this unique group . I'm a righty. I don't know about Gracie and Mr. Tootles. I'll have to pay attention and find out!

Did you know...The "spoon" with little points that some people call a "spork" is actually called a runciple spoon.

misskitty, most horses are natural righties, so for advanced training we have to teach them to be ambidextrous!
