From Waldo's teachings: There is no yesterday, there is no tomorrow, there is only today.

Meaning: you can't change what's already happened, so quit worrying about it. You likely can't change what's going to happen, so don't worry about it. You have today to enjoy life, get things done and be happy, so get with it today.

"Fall down seven times, get up eight"

And to paraphrase the late, great Lewis Grizzard: "You can be naked or you can be nekkid. If you're naked, you just don't have any clothes on. If you're nekkid, you don't have any clothes on....and you're probably up to something".

And one more favorite: "When you cease to dream, you cease to live."
I enjoy the escapism of reality television. Beats the heck out of worrying about your REAL life!!

I wrote Lewis Grizzard a letter when I was in high school telling him how much I liked his writing. He sent me a signed copy of his book, "I Haven't Understood Anything Since 1962 and Other Nekkid Truths" wishing me a Merry Christmas. He died about a year later. I'll always treasure that book.

    My two:
"Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things that you didn't do than by the ones you did do. So throw off the bowlines. Sail away from the safe harbor. Catch the trade winds in your sails. Explore. Dream. Discover." -Mark Twain

"Be who you are and say what you feel, because those who mind don't matter and those who matter don't mind."

There are so many other good ones, but these two stick for me.

I have yet to find proof that this is not actually the case.
