You're way ahead of me, PGM! I still haven't tackled big projects, like making clothes or blankets. I'm a bit intimidated with the idea of following a pattern or working on a really long term project. It took me forever to make my placemat so I can imagine how many weeks it would take to make a blanket.![]()

I want to learn to crochet. I talked to a friend/teacher about that today and said I was going to try watching some youtube instruction videos. She said to do that and then come to her with questions. She does knitting, crocheting, weaving, etc.
Count your blessings!
PGM, I especially like the fingerless gloves on the bottom. Those are my colors!

I was thinking of the immortal words of Socrates, who said, "... I drank what?"
The gloves are fun to do and that yarn works up that way much like pikachu's yarn above on the place mats. It's like an ombré pattern and just turns out that way as you go around. I made a scarf to match too.

I was intimidated by patterns at first but meetup groups helped me! I decide to just go to see if anyone there had experience to help me out and they were happy to help. The blankets work up pretty fast. Plus they were fun to plan. I made 3 in all and really enjoyed doing them.
Create a meetup group for crotchet / knitting and see if anyone joins! Or join a group and see if anyone wants to start up again!

I wish I had the patience for needle work. The people that I've seen working on projects, always look so relaxed and peaceful.![]()

I have beeñ trying to work on Christmas gifts. I just completed a sweater for my niece. I am now knitting a sweater for myself. A plus about the cabling is that it keeps your mind a little occupied on what next.
Ravelry is an excellent website for knitters and crocheters....free patterns....and get to look at everyone's projects.
Love all your things Pikachu and Pgm

Lately i have been fascinated with broomstick crochet. I might knitt a simple scarf and then make a broomstick lace crochet pattern as its border.
