"Education's purpose is to replace an empty mind with an open one."
My favorite girls name is Ainsley (said like pain without the p....then slee). I read it in a book once and loved it.
My favorite boys names are pretty common...Ryan and Matthew. I am going to combine those when I have kids, so my boy will be named either Matthew Ryan or Ryan Matthew. I like the latter better.
Last year my friends and I wrote a play for our drama class and we named the main character Chastity...that was fun.
Viva La Vie Boheme!
Wasn't there a David Letterman schtick about Dick Assman? also a high school friend of mine knew a Frozeen Furtyhurt.
A girl that goes to my high school her name is Patience, as in "Have patience, my dear" its weird but i kinda like it
Anginette (I told myself If I had twins I'd name them Aqua & Angie)
Sabrina (I like the way it sounds, my mom said it's witch-y.)
Tatiana (After the Princess)
Jayla (Reminds me of a sweet bird)
Galleria (Like the mall. I think it's pretty)
"What it do, Shawty?"-Natasha Galkina
Auryn (the necklace from the Never ending story)
I am in the middle of my two week wait right now.. and if we end up being pregnant again and it's another boy, we have chosen Auryn as his name
~There is no way to Happiness. Happiness is the way.~
My Fathers name is Byrle Oscar. Byrle is pronounced like girl with a b. My maiden name also starts with a B. So when he signed his initials it's BOB. He really hates his name but at 86 says whats the use.
Every time someone in the family has a baby my Mother wants them to name it Byrle. My Father on the other hand is like no don't, I'll pay you $20 not to. He says at least no one wants to name a kid Oscar.
To make everything weirder My Mother picked LaVerne for me. Boy or girl that was going to be my name. Gee thanks Mom. All my brothers and sisters have normal names Roger, Grace, Janice, Dale. Why me? I have always hated it but at least no one ever forgot my name. How could you?
I finally said something in a conversation about how I wish I had a different name and low and behold my Mother says" Well if you don't like it why didn't you change it when you turned 18?" I was really thrown. I mean she named me that and I never thought she would have been okay with something like that. Oh well parents. Anyway at 41 I think it's to late to change it now.
