Me and my boyfriend drove up to Seattle and watched fireworks from Space Needle. It was pretty amazing

My fiance and I spent it at home. We watched the local coverage of NYE, kissed at midnight, and stayed up until 5AM, just hanging out. It was nice.

Ugh. Spent a very busy night at work. I couldn't wait to get home. Hope everyone else got to welcome in the new year better.

My daughter went to my MIL's for a sleepover, so although me and hubby could have done dinner or something alone with a free babysitter, my large pregnant self lay on the couch watching the Giants clinch the NFC East. I did fall asleep for a bit, then woke up to see the end of the game and the ball drop.

I felt so bad for Dick Clark, I could barely watch. And Mariah Carey needs to go AWAY.

Never been a NYE fan, but as long as I'm with my family, I'm happy (although it was SO weird without my daughter!!)

Stayed home and a friend came over to play poker w/Zaaam and I. I won $30 playing w/quarters.
Watched NY coverage on CNN w/Anderson Cooper. Drank a lil. Kissed at midnight and then went outside and watched fireworks from random neighborhoods.
Then played Soul Calibur III until 2:30ish am.

I haven't seen Dick Clark in awhile... did something happen during the show or is he just still trying to be "America's Oldest Teenager"?

He had a stroke last year and wasn't on the Rockin Eve show. This year, from what I saw, he was really struggling with his voice. It made me feel so bad for him! Like when they used to parade Bob Hope around (although not quite that bad). He looked okay, but sounded so unhealthy - he even was off on the countdown by a second!
