What do you pour over your cereal?

    Do you eat it dry?

I use rice milk as I tolerate that better than cow's milk.

I do know someone who uses apple juice instead of milk. Just not sure about that one.

1% milk user here too. I switched from 2% a few months back. I've drank 2% since my kids were little. They are now 30 & 28.

    Apple juice on cereal? Gross!

I use 2% milk. I don't know how anyone can eat their cereal dry.

I too am a Special K Vanilla Almond lover , and hate that it costs so darn much ( 2 boxes for 5 dollars is the cheapest I have seen it here) because I eat it every night before bed. My other favorites are Frosted shredded wheat, (Lucky Charms, Crunch Berries, rarely eat them though), and another one that is fruit harvest or something like that that has peaches and strawberries in it. For hot cereal it is oatmeal with brown sugar, milk, and bananas.

I make rice krispie treat bars with Corn Pops instead of the RK, they are yummy and I like them better than the original version.

I could live on cereal. Some days it doesnt seem like such a bad idea...lol

1% milk is the only way to go

My favorite healthy cereal, which I pretty much eat every single morning, is All Bran with Yogurt Clusters. mmmmmmmmmmm

But, I've been known to hide a box of Cap'n Crunch so I get the whole thing to myself. That's my favorite taboo cereal

Tex - that happened with King Vitamin when I was younger and I never recovered Then I think they stopped making it!! Blasphemy!

I'm going to have to try that. I can eat handfuls of Corn Pops right out of the box.

Now if only they'd bring Count Chocula back, I'd be in heaven. And I must be the only one who drinks skim milk!

I use soy milk on mine. I just got 2 boxes of Coco Puffs so I can send away for the Spiderman bowl. (At least that was my excuse, my youngest is a 15 year old girl).

Oh, but lucky charms, Apple Jacks and Alphabets are great dry snacks. And of course cheerios with peanuts, raisens and m&ms are a great gorp snack.

(My mom used to take me grocery shopping with her when I was little and I remember sitting in the cart and we headed to the cereal aisle first where she got a box of lucky charms and opened them and put them beside me. She then could shop in peace as I munched away on dry Lucky's. And we wonder why I've had a weight problem since childhood.)

But the healty cereals I have to use milk on. I can't eat them dry.

My daughter wishes they would just sell the coated raisens that come in Raisen Nut Bran by themself. She can pick through the box and eat all the raisens and leave the flakes.

They do have it out. My favorite "treat" cereal is FrankenBerry. They only bring it out at Halloween with Count Chocula and BooBerry. I am sad that I know this but I look forward to it every October.

I am also a skim milk drinker.
