What I really want and look forward to at Christmas is my mom's shortbread cookies. She makes them thin and bite size with a candied cherry on top.I have to exercise self control not to eat them all in one sitting.
It's all I really want.![]()

My mom makes jerky every year...can't wait for that.
All I'd really want is to spend time with the people I love. And for my daughter to be happy. Then if Santa is still feeling generous, he can help me pay off some debt.![]()

I second those sentiments Stargazer! (switch daughter for son in my case). After I posted this thread I called my mom and told her we were coming for Christmas. Everyone is going to be at her house and we are so happy to be a part of it all. The only drawback is driving through the Rockies in winter, but I'm game for some adventure and it should be beautiful.

Dean Martin: No but you can pour it..
Truthfully, I didn't want any "material" things this year, except maybe a gift certificate for some pedicures
It has been a tough few years, and this year is the first December since 2001 that I haven't been sad from suffering a miscarriage. Therefore, this year, I just feel blessed to have this little baby growing inside me and although I'm grumpy and uncomfortable and feeling as big as a house, I am thankful for this little tiny life and looking forward to January when I get to become a mom again.
And gabriel...Peace on Earth would be nice too![]()
Peace on Earth is a pretty standard stock answer. I didn't know what else to put here, because I pretty much have anything I'd want.

You better call her back and tell her we'll ALL be there for Christmas. Those cookies sounds delicoius.
This reminds me of the Christmas skit Steve Martin did years ago on Saturday Night Live (anybody remember?):
If I had three wishes I could wish this holiday season:
1. All the children in the world to join hands and sing together in the spirit of peace and harmony.
2. $30,000,000 a month to be given to me, tax free, in a Swiss bank account.
3. One month set aside each year to have an extended 31 day orgasm.
I think there were more wishes, but these are all I remember.

For my family and friends - all those that I love to have health, happiness and prosperity.
A gift certificate for my local gas station.![]()
Since I never get anything for Christmas, it would be nice to get something, you know. I mean I think I deserve it, I changed my life... I was a very mean mean mean person, and I am really nice now... :/
Atleast I get to spend time with my family though, now that I live on my own, I am SO lonley.. just me, my boyfriend and 2 cats.
