My cat's always running around in the middle of the night as if she owns the place, i doubt she'll be deviating from the script.

    Re: Daylight Savings Time Ends

Ok, Unk, you jinxed me. It's 4 a.m. and I'm on the computer!

I normally wake up at 5:30. I would like to sleep later, but 5:30 seems to be the magic number as I've been doing that for years. So I figured today would be 4:30. Nope, wide awake at 3:50 a.m.

    I hate this.

    *Bump*

Tonight is the night to set your clocks back one hour in those areas that observe Daylight Saving Time. As per my usual suggestion it is also a great time to change the batteries in your smoke detector.

I'm sure it will be a bit easier to get out of bed in the morning, but I really don't like walking everywhere and doing all my errands in the dark.

Yes considering I have to be at work 545am in the morning it is not fun leaving out the house in the middle of the night.

I have to say it was nice having some sunlight when I took the dogs for a walk at 6:30am. What wasn't nice was one dog whining starting at 5:30am that it was "time". She'll adjust in a few days.

Hopefully this will help me and my husband adjust from the nocturnal schedule we've been keeping - awake until 3:00 a.m. and sleeping until past noon.

I prefer the nocturnal life. But there will be a day soon my husband goes back to work and I'll be getting up early with him. I'd rather start working my way back a little so it's easier to get up early when that day blessedly comes.

    Re: Daylight Saving Time Ends

Its time to start taking vitamin E. I'm up around 5:45am, take Louie for a walk, come home, he goes back to sleep, I get ready for work. It doesn't bother me in the morning whether its dark or not. But, I really don't like the shorter evenings. Driving home after work in the dark, especially once the snow comes, its not fun. I have to make a point of trying to enjoy more daylight, rather than being in the office all day long, and leaving in the dark.
