A simple costume (didn't say good): wear a blue sweat shirt and glue cotton balls all over it, and carry a water pistol. When people ask you what you are: sunny, partly cloudy, with a chance of showers....then squirt them.

I am having so much fun right now! Halloween is a fairly new concept here, but I am getting kids. Most have costumes, but I just got a bunch without. I told them, that in North America if they didn't have costumes they had to sing or do a trick to get the candy. I got a wide-eyed stare, a kid bolted down the road, came back with a soccer ball, and boy did I get tricks

. Too funny.

Did anyone participate in the Thrill The World competition? They were trying to make Guiness world record of people around the world doing the Michael Jacksons Thriller dance.

Didn't do the thriller dance but once again went through 10 big bags of candy in less than 2 hours. Two of our neighbors have had a bit of a competition going on for a few years as to who can outdo the other in spooky yard decorations which seeminly brings the entire town, by carloads, to our street.
Not complaining

it's a fun night!

My ex's little boy wasn't feeling well, so he came to work with her instead of going to school. He came in his Halloween costume, toting his haul from last night. I asked if I could have a Kit-Kat bar in exchange for a Reese's Cup, to which he agreed. Here's the bad part--I gave him a Reese's Cup from his own bag

I wore a kitty mask and gave out candy with a ghost hand puppet! It was fun! We had the warmest Halloween in 25 years! No Snow! Last year was -13 with a windchill. I only had about 20 kids and I bought a box of 100 chocolate bars... what to do with all those extra treats?
