| Well, our trick-or-treating time is over. I got 3 groups of kids, for a grand total of 10 kids. That's about par for my tiny subdivision. I really thought I might get up to 20 or so since this year, for the first time ever, they've lifted the upper age limit. If they do it again next year, I may as well go trick-or-treating through the neighborhood!

| I was Pippi Longstocking . Another mom and I herded the kids around the neighborhood and got, oh, about 6 pounds of assorted candy and chocolates each. If I eat about 2 lbs. of it, that'll probably shave 5 years off my life expectancy. **And no, pictures of me as Pippi are not going to be posted. ![]() | |

I saw THE cutest decoration. It was an old fashioned parking meter, but it had a hook on it for brooms and it said: Broom Parking. Too cute. It turned fall here today. Yeah! Cooler weather. I need to get up in the attic and get my decorations down. I have a big yellow afro wig and I think I'm going to dress Waldo up in bell bottoms, tie dye and the wig. He'd make a great hippie for Halloween!!!! Rosie has a ballerina costume. Bogie won't wear anything. He hates it and is embarrassed, so he has to go as himself.
