    Great decorations bbnbama!

We took Lexie trick or treating. She's only 2 (not quite) and she didn't know what Halloween was but she liked wearing her costume and when she figured out that she was getting candy.... well, she got into it pretty fast after that! (btw... she was a Lady Bug)

She's a doll. love the Lady Bug outfit.

When my daughter was not quite 2, she screamed bloody murder about the costume and my husband had to carry her. We get to our neighbors house (who I've known since I was 3) and they put a full size Hersey bar in her pumpkin. I will never forget it. She shut up IMMEDIATELY! Looked in the pumpkin, looked at her dad and said: "put me down" and RAN to the next house. When candy is involved, they learn quickly.

Our numbers keep dropping every year. I think more and more people are going to parties or "Trunk or Treat" type events. When we first moved here in 2000 we had over 100, but only 24 this year. The weather certainly wasn't a factor. It had been a sunny day, close to 70, so the kids didn't have to bundle up.

I wasn't sure if I should post my 'not Sarah Palin' teacher costume. But I decided to go ahead and post it.

If you mean me, I wish I could help! I've never had puffy eyes. I've always had the opposite problem, dark circles under my eyes. I find that drinking copious amounts of water helps with any swelling or puffyness of the face and hands that I do get. Also, there's the Asparagus, Watermellon, Lemons trifecta They are all diuretics.(sp?) But I don't know if eye puffyness is the same as rest-of-you puffy.
