Not so sure that "love" is the word I'd have chosen. But since they caught a couple teeny-tiny polyps, I guess I can't complain.

Geez, MRD, I thought that we agreed the exploding bowel story would stay between us.

    Re: How Are Your Neighbors?

Fun update on my neighbors! So, at 2:30 am on July 5th, I and a large amount of my apartmen complex was woken up by 3 women arguing, with one lady saying she was going to kick another one's um... hiney. They were yelling for about a half hour. Finally, a guy came out and said if they didn't be quiet, he was calling the cops. The main loudmouth yelled, "Call the f'in cops!" And... he did. The cops came about 5 minutes later. I want to buy that cop caller some candy.

Well, it seems that one of the ladies in the fight... was the apartment manager.

One thing I learned a long time ago. If you tell someone to go ahead and do something they threaten to do, then usually they do it. Like calling the cops. Too funny, but too bad you all had to wake up to that. So what happened to the apt. manager?

Probably hung over and does not remember the night.

Maybe the apt mgr was in on the altercation. I hope the cops cited them!

I have neighbors who never took care of their yard. They'd have it mowed, but never got close to their residence. A fellow neighbor and I decided to trim weeds that were 3-4 feet tall. They were impedeing access to a walkway between our homes. It smelled like something had died. Well, they moved out and the weeds are still there. I'm about to call the health department because I'm tired of trimming.

You and your neighbor are brave... I'd be too scared to get in and trim weeds that high!
I have the opposite "problem" - a neighbor who mows excessively. After I mow, he remows the edge of his yard where it meets ours. Maybe he's one of those people who likes well-defined lines, but to me it always feels kind of like he's "marking his territory".
