:ohno You have enormous empathy coming from me, gabriel.
The dude downstairs, the bane of my existence...was arrested!! :clap
Saturday night, I was working, head phones blasting, when I realized
the vibrations from below had stopped. "Could it be?", I thought. I
took the headphones off, and immediately heard yelling from outside.
I looked out the window, and that ass was pounding his fists
on his girlfriend. He was man-punching her! It was sickening. He
kept yelling "why are you bothering me?", which for me was the
ultimate in "pot...meet kettle" scenarios. It must have been going on
for a while, because the cops pulled up, and off he went! I watched
him be handcuffed and driven off, then went back to work, so I don't
know what happened to his girlfriend.
I knew that guy had absolutely no redeeming qualities, and I understand
my neighbors fear of him a little better now. The only thing I ever heard
coming from their apartment was the incessant, nerve bending repetitive
beat. I didn't realize how big a punk ass bitch he really is.
Sweet silence! It is golden!
Re: How Are Your Neighbors?
:yay What a great Christmas present, Lopev!
Re: How Are Your Neighbors?
Thanks, dagwood! :cheek Great Christmas present! It was all tied up with a pretty bow (and a pair of handcuffs).
I think the courts may be closed today, so he might not even go before the judge until Wednesday! Wonder if the conditions in jail will be hard for him to tolerate...all that noise. Oh well, it's his bed (or I guess I should say...cot).

What a great gift for you Lopevian. Peace on Christmas.
And I love how you phrased that. :lol
Well I've always said what goes around comes around. Looks like it's come around for your neighbor. Wonder what they get for Christmas dinner in jail. I can bet Santa doesn't visit!!!
Have a wonderful and PEACEFUL holiday and I hope that things continue to be peaceful for you.
Re: How Are Your Neighbors?
Thank you, myrosiedog! :biglove I gotta say, I am giddy.
I do feel bad for the girlfriend, because I was abused in my first marriage. I survived and she will too (I hope).
Wishing you a wonderful and peaceful Christmas too! :grouphug

Let's just hope she doesn't take him back
Re: How Are Your Neighbors?
My neighbors are drug addicts, who leave there animals outside and they dissapear for like weeks, and i feed there pets so they don't die.
once we were having a garage sale, and they had this fight in their yard, and the wife punched the guy, and locked him out of the house and drove off.
he then punched a hole through a window, and clumbed in.
that was the end to our garage sale.
Re: How Are Your Neighbors?
I was thinking that too Gabriel.
Wholahey, I would think that would end a lot of garage sales and other things too. Call the cops. That stuff doesn't stop unless someone stops it. (someone professionally trained to stop it)And then, that doesn't always work, but at least when the cops are involved, there's some incentive maybe, hopefully on both sides to rethink the relationship.

That's so wonderful of you! Bless you, wholahey! :nod :biglove
Re: How Are Your Neighbors?
Wow, that is nice to make sure the animals are taken care of. My neighbors weigh less than I do, maybe 115lbs each yet they walk like elephants and it rattles my dishes in my cupboards. Each Sunday and Monday during football, they have at least 15 people over and they all jump up and down during touch downs and scream. Fun stuff! I've told the manager, but one of the problems is it's his son who is best friends with the person living there. Sigh.
