Get up out of chairs without saying "oof". I weigh under 10 stone , am always going to the gym, yet when I go to get up I sound like my dad! Middle age creeps up on you!

You must be very young, because you sound like you are in the "I need to look good" stage of your life. The next stage is "I care what I look like but if you don't like the way I look, I could care less"

Sometime in the near future, you'll remember when you didn't have hair to brush. You have such a great outlook Gutmutter! Keep it up lady!

I remember when I could start at one end of the club and have a half-dozen men trailing along behind me by the time I'd made a complete circuit. These days I can't even catch the bag boy's attention to take my groceries out to the car. What a difference 20 years and 40 pounds make!
Well I was born in a small town
And I can breathe in a small town
Gonna die in this small town
    And that's prob'ly where they'll bury me

I remember when I could sit cross-legged on the floor...now if I sit on the floor, I have to grab the nearest non-movable piece of furniture and slowing and painfully pull myself up (and not too gracefully and ladylike either!!)

I remember when I used to be able to sleep through the night without getting up to pee at least twice. I currently have a child sleeping on my bladder! Although getting up to pee is easier than getting up for 2 a.m. feedings. I guess I shouldn't complain - January is coming quick
