That's another good idea I try to remember to do. It seems like I forget to do that about half the time. Now that I've actually posted about it, maybe I'll actually remember to do it everytime!

It did it a couple of times so I took the batteries out of it. I sent SC Johnson an email and they are sending me a coupon for a whole new unit.
I know this happened about a year ago to Unk, but it just happened to me too. I e-mailed them and they are sending me a coupon for a free unit as well. I'm just impressed that a company will still be nice to the consumer these days.

Are those scrubbing bubbles units worth it? I have an old tub/shower in my apartment with one of those vinyl inserts to cover up old nasty tile and it gets lots o' orange because of the rust in our water.

Also people, I use borax in my laundry. It helps majorly with any pet odors you may encounter (and I encounter a lot working at a pet store lol) and also helps when you have hard water. I use 1/2 cup with a large load with my laundry detergent. I also use vinegar a lot around the house as well. It is another thing that will help remove pet stains and odors.

I appear to be the only one - but I thought the scrubbing bubbles unit sucked. It did not spray evenly by a long shot, and it also left a funny residue.

Re: What Household Products Do You Use?

The scrubbing bubbles unit I bought went thru batteries too fast. Think a set of batteriest for every bottle used. That ups the cost per shower cleaning a lot.

    My spelling sucks today.

OK. Question. Please help me out. How does one clean LCD screens? We have 4 LCD moniters, a LCD TV, and a laptop. I don't know WHY we have to have 2 moniters for every computer. DH says he needs them for his gaming but anyway...

With one of the moniters we got a cleaning cloth, which says to spray water on it, then clean the screen with it. Does this work? Will it work with the other LCD screens? And where does one buy such a cloth? I'm assuming Target or Walmart would have such an item? What part of the store? Please help!
I very much believe in rescuing animals, not buying them.

You don't need anything particularly fancy to clean an LCD screen. All you need is a mixture of about 50% isopropyl (i.e., rubbing) alcohol and 50% water. As for the cleaning cloth, you can either buy microfiber cloth, but a soft cotton handkerchief will do.

For the LCD screens and my TV I buy prepackaged wet & dry wipes online for that purpose. Use - dispose.
