Well Father's day approaches this weekend. Anyone have big plans?

My husband will get the usual: laying on the couch watching what he wants to watch on tv while we make him his favorite foods.

He is getting DVD's of Rat Patrol - 1st season and Black Sheep Squadron - 1st season.

(he loves War movies and these two old tv series) So he will probably lay on the sofa and watch both DVD's all day.

If he wasn't still sick, I'd insist we go to the beach because then he could fish while my daughter and I soak up the sun. Then ALL of us would be happy. But he can't seem to shake this sinus infection that sent him to the ER on Mon.

In advance, Happy Father's Day to all the Fort dads (and the single moms who do both jobs). I hope you all get to relax and spend the day with your children.

I'm not particularly close to my dad unfortunately but I will call him. My husband is away for military training so he won't be here. But we do have some gifts for him when he returns.
