I was channel surfing last night and stumbled across the pageant. GOD, what a joke it is. I got there just in time to see them doing an imitation of Who Wants to be a Millionaire, with the final five contestants answering really demanding questions about things like Napster and Ted Williams frozen corpse. The host was like Bryant Gumble on crack ... lecturing the audience not to yell out the answers. Just freakin' unbelieveable.

I didn't see the show,but I thought I read somewhere that the host was Wayne Brady from 'Who's line?"
I find the whole idea of these pagents pretty mindless.

based solely on looks, i preferred miss oklahoma.

miss illinois had that whole "janice" from friends thing going on!

oh, and fluff, it was wayne brady that hosted.

you and me, both! Talent Shows are okay as long as everything's kept clean, but members of either sex parading across a stage skimpily dressed doesn't appeal to me on any level.
