Ha! This is what came to my mind:

When I was a young boy
I wanted to sail around the world
That's the life for me, living on the sea
Spirit of a sailor, circumnavigates the globe
The lust of a pioneer, will acknowledge
    No frontier
I remember you by, thunderclap in the sky
    Lightning flash, tempers flare,
'round the horn if you dare
I just spent six months in a leaky boat
    Lucky just to keep afloat

    Aotearoa, rugged individual
    Glisten like a pearl
At the bottom of the world
    The tyranny of distance
    Didn't stop the cavalier
So why should it stop me
    I'll conquer and stay free
    Ah c'mon all you lads
    Let's forget and forgive
    There's a world to explore
Tales to tell back on shore
I just spent six months in a leaky boat
Six months in a leaky boat

*sigh* 80's music. Is there any situation that can't be set to an 80's song?

80's you say? How 'bout Christopher Cross?

    Sailing
    Takes me away
To where I've always heard it could be
Just a dream and the wind to carry me
And soon I will be free

    Fantasy
It gets the best of me
    When I'm sailing
All caught up in the reverie
    Every word is a symphony
    Won't you believe me

    Unk

Jewelsy, I used to have that Christopher Cross tape. We had a Hobie Cat, and would sing that as we sailed around the ocean. Thanks for the trip down memory lane. Of course there were some rough memories on the catamaran too...Mr. Rose tried to kill me on our first date on that boat.

    Have fun, Captain John!

    I want a boat.

Well, have a nice summer John. A boat on Lake Michigan is a great way to spend the summer.

Don't y'all know I'm a Parrothead? Where are the Buffett songs? That's all that'll be played on my boat...

In honor of your new diet, John:

Tried to amend my carnivorous habit
    Made it nearly seventy days
Losin' weight without speed, eatin' sunflower seeds
Drinkin' lots of carrot juice and soakin' up rays
But night I'd have these wonderful dreams
    Some kind of sensuous treat
Not zucchina fedachini in over a week
but a big warm bun and huge hunk of meat

    Chorus:
    Cheeseburger is paradise (paradise)
Heaven on earth with an onion slice (paradise)
Not too particular not too precise (paradise)
I'm just a cheeseburger in paradise

Heard about the old time sailer men,
They ate the same thing again and again
Warm beer and bread they said could raise the dead
Well it reminds me of the menu at a Holiday Inn

Times 've changed for sailors these days
When I'm at port I get what I need
Not Havanas or bananas or daiquiris
But that American creation on which I feed.

    Chorus:
    Cheeseburger is paradise (paradise)
Medium rare with mustard 'be nice (paradise)
Heaven on earth with an onion slice (paradise)
I'm just a cheeseburger in paradise

I like mine with lettuce and tomato
Heinz 57 , French fried potatoes
Big kosher pickle and a cold draft beer
Well good God Almighty which way do I steer, for my

    Chorus:
    Cheeseburger in paradise (paradise)
Makin' the best of every virtue in mind (paradise)
Worth every damn bit of sacrifice (paradise)
    Cheeseburger in paradise
To be a cheeseburger in paradise
I'm just a cheeseburger in paradise

I like mine with lettuce and tomato
Heinz 57 , French fried potatoes
Big kosher pickle and a cold draft beer
Well good God Almighty which way do I steer
