Makes no sense not to try.

That's the story of my life!

OK, y'all ... you've given me the encouragement I needed (or kick in the ass!). I'm gonna do it. Like everyone pointed out, the worst thing is that he could ignore it, but if so, then at least I tried.

    Thanks again!

OK, this is for all the ladies: Do the opposite of what you see on that ridiculous S&TC show.

Most guys LOVE it when a woman initiates, it makes thing so much easier for us.

fluff, I started dating my husband at 15 and didn't have to deal with that stuff either.

Phonegrrrl, I would definitely drop a few lines in an email. It can't hurt. Maybe once you start out exchanging emails regularly, it will lead to something better. Good luck
I can only please one person a day, today is not your day and tomorrow doesn't look good either

I believe they're talking about Sex and the City. Just a guess because I've never seen the show.

    Ahh, makes sense!
Although taking advice from that show IMO doesn't make sense.

Well, I wouldn't normally, but I read it again in the Washington Post last week. Maybe I'll stick to the NY Times instead!
