Eh, babysitter on stand by but no definite plans yet. I have been known to either tie one on or shut it down and sleep it in. I'll know what kind of mood I'm in as it gets closer. :)
One thing I know for sure, I am so glad to see 2004 come to a close. Good gosh has the end of this year been awful. :phhht
Oh and no resolutions for me...I'm "resolution challenged".....nothing sticks. :lol
We hadn't really gone out anywhere for a couple of years ...so this year we bought tickets to a gorgeous restaurant located on the 40th floor of a hotel.....so hopefully I'll be having a good time with hubby. It includes dinner and dancing. :)
Since I got Christmas eve off from work, I am working on New Year's Eve. :phhht So what my great plans for the new upcoming year? I'll be working the the "split/closing shift" meaning 12-4, 7-1 (now "technically" closing is done by 1am...but since being New Years...countdown bla bla bla closing won't be done till about 4am. Just what I need working 13 hours at a job which I now currently hate, working with a manager who I CANNOT stand, and working with customers who I know will always find some way to make my day NOT in ANY WAY better.
:phhht ... I'm not looking forward to it at all.
New Year's resolutions? I use to do those, never remembered them, never kept them :mmm

We are in a very bad position this year. Some of you may have read about our 2 sets of couple friends and their former wife swapping ways. Well, we've been invited out by both couples and we are being expected to choose. All around bad scene!
We have a sitter on stand-by but we were thinking about taking the kiddo to the Science Centre for NYE complete with balloon drop at 10:30pm, then hubby and I renting a couple of DVD's and staying home.
Over the years it's become very expensive and too much hassle to party it up NYE.

I happen to be working, not as an amateur, but as an old-timer-who-knows-she-can-rake-in-the-tips-er :lol . I'll get out around 11 and go to my best friends house where we'll the toast the end of this year.
I'm so happy that this year will soon be over, I don't talk about my troubles at all on the boards, maybe I should, but I don't know.... All I know is I really hope next year will be better. Till then, chin up, eyes straight ahead, hands in pockets!

Still can't decide....
Some of my friends are driving down to Charleston, SC but that is sort of a pain to get to for me. Other people are talking about staying in town but going to a really expensive party. I think NYs is totally over rated. Last year was ok, but in general I always find that its tough to please everyone so we end up trying to do a million things. My bf and I are talking about just relaxing and taking it easy. We'll see...
I too, got to work. just another night to me.
Our friends decided that we should go to one of those dinner/dancing parties they have in hotels where you have to get all dressed up. We did this a few years ago and we did NOT have a good time. It was really cramped and the food was awful. :ohno I really don't feel like going, but we already paid for it. I would have much rathered sitting home on the couch in my pj's with a beer in my hand watching Regis in New York. :phhht
