You probably wouldn't like it if you went there with me. I can spend hours in that store.

I'm betting that MB and I together could spend the entire day in there and you'd be ready to run out screaming!

priji - that is a lovely, lovely tree.

MRD I love the idea of a bird themed tree. I'm stealing that one. I like birds ... and I think cardinals may be my favorite.

Ashley, do I see Tinker Bell up atop that tree?

Beautiful trees, everyone. Mine only has the lights on it. I'm waiting for my son to get home from college tonight, and we'll decorate it tomorrow as a family.

Here's a picture of the midsection of the mantle. I love nativity sets, and this particular one came from the Czech Republic. It's handmade and consists of corn husks and corn cobs. It's so fragile, and I can't believe my then 14 year-old son brought that back in one piece from the Czech Republic. Hmmm. Can't see much in that picture. I'll have to try again.

    Here is a closer shot.

Priji, that's a lovely tree and I'm curious where you found it, too.

Barley, I love your country tree and I noticed Katie in the background right away. Your neighbor's tree is gorgeous, too.

Ashley, Tinkerbell is so darn cute as a tree topper, and it looks like you've got a lit village next to the tree? How darling.

SV, I'm so glad you took a second picture of your crèche because the detail is so much better in the second one - the pieces are beautiful. How wonderful to have something so lovely from the Czech Republic. We have Mr. Rose's grandmother's crèche, and I'll have to take a picture of it when I get the chance. It's rather ordinary, but of course holds a lot of sentimental value for him.
