MamaC: what a darling little girl!
myrosiedog: I'm glad you aren't hurt. What a fright that must have been!

Mr.and Mrs. Santa-Bear have made their arrival and have taken their place at the foot of the fireplace. Their duty is to make sure that neither Gracie or Mr. Tootles closes the damper on the chimney so Santa Paws can indeed gain entrance quietly into the room. My two kitts like to play games on Santa like that. Little troublemakers they are.

Thank you all....as if I had anything to do with her gorgeousness. LOL

Actually she was over at the house and I wanted to take a picture of her to send out in my cards. So I grabbed my digital camera and the pictures were coming out all weird. Tried replacing batteries, memory card, nothing was making it work right. I really think my daughter and her friend must have dropped it one day last week when they were taking pictures for their Myspaces (although she denies doing so). So to say I was a bit upset is a major understatement. While all of this was going on, my son took his daughter over to the other grandmas house, which was good because I was going into banshee mode. Hubby went out and bought a new camera and it was all set when my son came back over here. Well when he walked in, I took one look at my granddaughter and her face was all RED

Apparently while at the other grandma's, she got into makeup and must have smeared lipstick all over her face. We had to put her in the tub and scrub off her face. Tears galore as you can imagine. It is amazing that the little darlin' looks as cheerful as she does in the picture, because she was a screaming mess right up to that point!

MamaC - your granddaughter is darling.

Manny-Babes! Your tree is lovely. I heard you had a bit of a fiasco with the lights, though.

Thanks, Jewels! Yeah, just call me Griswold.

Actually, I'm going to try to get another picture that shows the lights a little bit better.

    ETA: And . . . done.

Re: Post pics of your Christmas Tree here....

Ok...I guess I'll revive this thread for 2007...

I've recently moved in with the S.O. so we have an overabundance of Christmas decorations between the 2 of us! I've only been in the house since Dec. 1st so we decided we weren't going to go all out this year and put up all of our stuff (since I'm still unpacking the mounds of boxes from my move!).

We've got 3 trees decorated and right now they are labeled "his tree", "my tree" and "my son's tree"...

    His Tree:

    My Tree:

    My son's tree:

Ok fellow FORTers, let's see your 2007 trees..........
