We have not put up our tree yet, I love to put it up but the thought of taking it down keeps me from putting it up LOL

Ok .. so.. this year I was thinking about stringing a cranberry and popcorn garland.
Question: does it smell? Will it rot? Will it start to smell?

    Thanks!

Well, its not the best picture in the world but it'll have to do for now!

I don't have alot of talent when it comes to decorating...my ex hubbie is the artistic one and had all that talent...I tend to lose my patience and wind up saying "To hell with it!" Right now my 13 year old son and I live in a tiny 2 bedroom apartment and by the time I drag out the boxes upon boxes of Christmas items I have and get it all spread out and try to hang it or place it where it needs to go my patience is gone and I'm disgusted! The majority of it is never put out because I simply do not have anywhere to put it. I'm notorious for shopping for Christmas decorations the day after Christmas (knowing the whole time, I have no where to put the items! ) If I ever get out of this apartment, hopefully I'll be able to decorate a bigger space!!!

I love seeing everyone else's trees and how they decorate!!! Keep up the good work and thanks for sharing!

Thanks MamaC: My tree is at least 20 years old and reaches to the top of the elms in the boulevard. So I guess it's a couple stories high too. I know a few people who manage to light their big outdoor trees, and they can be absolutely striking when lit during the night. So I guess unless I find a huge ladder with some strong guys who want to play decorator, one with a bucket truck, it won't happen .

Duxxy: Popcorn will be fine if you don't butter it, and I think the cranberries work as well...they just dry up. Unless you have a very humid house, it shouldn't be a problem.

canuckinchile: I like the one with your puppy in the front. I also like those wooden chairs you have there too!

Laura: Wow! Serious looking tree I hadn't seen many with ribbon streaming down from the bow on top. Looks lovely on a big tree like yours!
