That cat's an imposter. Looks nothing like Tigger. You probably don't want to let him in the house.Originally Posted by Unklescott
I shop all year so that when the holidays actually arrive I can just enjoy watching everyone else go psycho. We will celebrate with the kids a couple of weeks before Christmas. We will be leaving on vacation on the 17th. There have been decorations for sale for weeks. I bought a few a while back but won't be using them till after Thanksgiving.
Over the last couple of years a few Bay Area stations would play holiday music 24/7 from two weeks before Thanksgiving right through Christmas night. It's bad enough that I have to listen to holiday music at work... wait, I barely listen to FM radio these days anyway, so I guess it's a moot point. It still annoys me, though.

I hate that the mall is already decorated. Oh please, why make me sick of Christmas 2 months before it's here.
We went to the mall on election day after I voted (the kids had no school) and my 10 year old had a mini fit when she saw how everything was decorated already. It was sort of amusing as she kept saying "well what about Thanksgiving? Shouldn't there be Turkey's up?" Had to explain to her that the mall doesn't really make money on Thanksgiving so they want you to think Christmas.

I love Christmas. I sing Christmas carols at work all the time...after Thanksgiving. It's just too doggone early. Christmas stuff shouldn't be out til after Thanksgiving.Originally Posted by applesauce
