    Daylight Savings Time Ends Sunday

For those of you living in areas where Daylight Savings time is observed, don't forget to turn your clocks back one hour before going to bed on Saturday (10/30) night. Daylight Savings time officially ends at 2:00 a.m. Sunday morning 10/31. Let's get back that hour of sleep we lost last April.
This is also a good time to change the batteries in your smoke detector. I change mine twice yearly along with the back up battery in my alarm clock.

Ah! If only the kiddos would sleep in an extra hour and let me enjoy the gained hour, but nooooooo, life could not be that good. I guess I do not have too many complaints.

    Thanks for the reminder, Unk!

I wish I could save that hour so I could get an extra hour of sleep for Monday morning, but oh well.

Unk, you are always on top of things! We are doing our smoke detector tomorrow. Since not a single clock in our house is correct, this will be a good opportunity to get things back in order.

Yay, we get our extra hour of sleep back!

Aw crap, I'm gonna have to change the time on the register when I get to work.

Why am I whining? It's not that hard.
