    Going to Arizona (Mesa)

    Hi guys,

I just wanted to say that I will be in Arizona in November for a couple of days. I will be free on the 18th if there is anyone from there who would like to meet. We are 3 so far who are getting together (I don't want to name them in case they don't want, but if they see this thread they may just say who they are) and it will be fun. So if anyone else if from around there and would like to get together, let me know!

Wish I was there Eva. I was there the last week of September. Go by the In & Out Burger place and get a double-double. They're the best and with fresh made french fries. By the way, that big yellow thing up in that beautiful blue area above your head is the sun in the sky.

Yea! Unklescott has his old avatar back! I went to college at NAU (Flagstaff). Take a good look at that sky while you're there. You will never see a bluer blue.
    Count your blessings!

Eva Sweetie -- if I was still living in Arizona, I would have loved to have met up with you. I'm not sure how far away Mesa is from Prescott, and since I don't drive (it's just not a good idea when you can't see), I would have "tapped tapped" my little white cane to see you.

Have a great time, and be sure to check the weather before you leave. It can get pretty cold in November. Fine -- this is coming from a California girl who thinks anything under 60 degrees is freezing.

Too bad you're not still there

As for the weather, being from Canada, I'm sure it will be HOT in Arizona

Eva, bad timing! I lived there last year until I graduated from ASU in May.

And Unklescott, it's not so much a blue sky as it is brown.

FYI, Mesa isn't the place to spend your time. As someone who lived there, trust me on that one. Make sure you go to Old Town Scottsdale and if you like shopping, Scottsdale Fashion Square.
    Have fun!
