Oh that brings me back famita. My sitter used to feed us apples and peanut butter when we were kids for snack time.

I've got the peanut butter but I am too lazy to get dressed and go to the store for apples

Just eat it out of the jar with a spoon. That's what I would do.

I forgot a favorite comfort food, that I'm sure not many people 'upnorth' have even heard of--cornbread and milk. (Together, in a cup or bowl)

I like to pretend I'm being healthy and use pieces of celery in place of the spoon

    sweet milk or butter milk?

My FIL ate that with buttermilk.

I like both, but can't eat it mixed together.

(is it just me that finds an amusing side to the fact that the "comfort food" thread and the "I hate my body thread" are usually next to each other? )

Superbrat, I would eat the celery, but for some reason, celery in this house goes limp before I can get to the peanut butter jar with it.
Besides, I prefer cream cheese in my celery.

We sell mush at the restaurant. A cornmeal mixture that we bake, then slice and deep fry. We sell a lot of it. I had never heard of it until I started working here.
