This is really great stuff
Reading your posts reminds me of three more people I need to thank in print.
One of my former cars died just as I was passing an on-ramp of a hwy. It was dark and very cold so I was mad that I had worn a skirt that day. I hadn't walked far when a van with a woman and kids pulled up and offered me a ride. She said she never picks people up, but could tell I was a woman (skirt) and had seen my disabled car. She drove me to a restaurant so that I could get help. I didn't even have the money for the pay phone on me and the manager gave me the change I needed and a glass of iced tea to drink while I waited.
When I lost my job I couldn't afford my epilepsy medication. My neurologist gave me more than a month's worth of samples that would last until my unemployment checks kicked in. He himself sorted and handed them to me.
I believe God works through these people that help us in our hour of need. I want to be sure to give thanks to Him as well.
