Sorry about your audit..trust me..I know all about them and how incompetent people fark it up. Luckily Zaaam and I are the only ones who are responsible for our work and we always ACE the audits. The other side of the bank? They always screw something up.

| Yup yup yup! I work in a bank! Its such a drag with audits. The thing we got marked off big time was business documentation. Ever since I reorganized business files, my office has done really well with the documentation aspects of it. Which is great. However, this time, Old Hag decides to hide the freaking file in another folder and it was missing all documentations, but she stiill went ahead and opened the account. Not to mention everytime I open a business account, she always asks why I didn't give it to her because she's the "business account specialist" but then everytime someone asks her to open a safe deposit box, she gives it to me because I'm the supposed, "safe depost box" expert, but in reality SBA's give you no commission and screws your cross sales ratio, so that's why she doesn't want it!!! :phhht :phhht The worst part is she'll open the business account for a business client and when they want an SBA, she'll tell them to come during the weekend because that's when the SBA expert is available to open it! How inconvenient is that for the customer? Such a lie too! |

| Our principal wanted to discuss something with another teacher who has latched onto me...she's not well liked. First he had to clear with me that I would cover for her. I gave her the heads up with the strict warning not to let on that she knew ahead of time and - you guessed it. She spilled the beans. So I was trying to do a good deed and she screwed me. *!#@$!%!*&^!

I can't stand it when coworkers screw us. I have learned to avoid them at all costs. The less I have to do with them the less they can infect my well-being. Good luck to you, Gut, and I hope this doesn't affect your status with the principal too much. That other teacher sucks for doing that to you!

| Thanks Pom. I kicked myself after. But I did have a chance to redeem myself. We have an annual trip to Canada that this other teacher organizes. We got wind that the school committee wasn't going to pass it this year because people really don't like this woman. What he was going to ask her was not to go to the meeting and let another teacher and me present it. That's exactly how it panned out and I did such a professional job (along with my colleague and his daughter who had been on the trip) that the committee voted to allow it. The principal thanked me repeatedly both that night and the next day, so all is well.

butter and a jellybean! At my old law firm years ago we had the infamous blueberry muffin memo. This was back in the days before the attorneys had computers in their offices. One of the second year associates who had not one lick of common sense (she sang "Like A Virgin" at a firm karaoke party) wrote a memo addressed to everyone. The subject line was blueberry muffin. The contents of the memo described how she had put a blueberry muffin in the communal refrigerator and someone had stolen it. She then had the memo copied and handed it out to every single person who worked at the firm including all the partners. I'm still not sure if she expected the person to be drawn and quartered or what? ![]()

| Ever seen the Friends episode where someone takes Ross's turkey and stuffing sandwich at work? He ends up having to take pills that chill him out. Maybe your coworker needs a "chill pill". (Who's old enough to remember that expression?)

I am. And, I had forgotten about that episode. The funniest thing is that it turned out to be the office administrator who had eaten it thinking it was his. ![]()
