Congrats Fanny Mare! Not bad winnings!

I never win anything and I buy at least one, sometimes two lottery tickets per week. Sometimes I forget, but normally I play the Mega Million and the Power Ball. I can't figure out why I don't win. lol I stay positive and I really think I will win it eventually.

If I do, I'll come back here and let everyone know in confidence of course. One thing I would like to do is help everyone at FORT. It's a reasonable number of regular members that I could help those who are having struggles PLUS, we could plan a trip, like a cruise to the Greek Isles or something. All expenses paid....that would be fun to get together for a worry free week of R&R!

Then I would start building jobs in my community. I've always wanted to make a difference that way. Building a plant that would employ a couple of hundred people would be a great thing, IMO. I'd also like to provide free classes to citizens for things that will help them on finance, parenting, health and recycling.

That was for five numbers Debb, one more number would have been $6000.00 but I love a free play

    Re: Share your good news

Many years ago, when I was going through my divorce, I was really broke & it was right before Mothers Day. I couldn't even afford to send my Mother a small gift. I was lucky to be able to afford gas for my car.
I went to a nearby city to see my children in an out-of-town track meet. Afterwards I went to the local mall to walk around & feel sorry for myself. They went home on the team bus.

I had to use the restroom & didn't know where that mall's was. But I was right near a Casino in the mall (we have those here). There was a sign saying "For patron's use only". So I ordered a drink(free while gambling) & picked a machine. After using the restroom I sat down & put $1.00 in a nickle machine. I immediately won $50.00!

So I cashed in & found Mom a nice Mothers' Day gift & mailed it from the mall Post Service. Spent the whole $50.00.
I figured it was a sign, enabling me to get her a nice gift.
    You don't mess with fate.

I could have won $1,000.00 any other time & not been as happy as I was that day.

Almost forgot why I logged on. I can't believe no one's talking about Tony on Survivor.

This is a follow-up to previous posts long forgotten, but that won't matter. In 2008, I lost 104 pounds by myself. Diet organizations said I couldn't do it alone. Wrong! They said I'd gain it all back and then some. Wrong! I passed the "5 year" mark last October.

This isn't about..wow, look at me and my bad self! No, it's to encourage anyone out there who can't afford a diet organization that you don't need one to succeed. I am not extraordinary. I'm probably one of the biggest slack-a$$es you'll ever meet. But I did it, and so can you. The three rules to weight loss:

    1. eat less
    2. exercise more
    3. have patience

    Patience is the most important.

    Best wishes!

Came here to look for good news and saw this! What a great testimony! And so "easy" to do but "hard" at the same time. Anything worth achieving is worth the work it takes to get there! Way to go lopevian!
