I am overjoyed that you have found something fulfilling to do, beerbelly. You've set a great example for us by keeping such an upbeat attitude.

    Thanks for the Beer BB!

I really loved this week - I'm not sure it will become a full time position but it is bringing back my confidence and creativity. Everyone I tell that I am doing sales says: 'You would be great at that!'.

    I'm really happy!

What kind of things are you selling, beerbelly? I've always heard that the secret to being a great salesperson is to really believe in what you are selling, and in my limited experience I've found it was true--e.g., I always thought I couldn't fundraise for our preschool, but then they said you are just selling raffle tickes for a dollar that are worth a donated free weekend in the city with Broadway tickets... well, who doesn't think that's worth it, especially if the dollar goes to a preschool!
Of course I guess you could also be a total sleaze who doesn't care if the product is shoddy if you get your cut, but that totally doesn't fit you, beerbelly! So I'm curious what good thing you are selling! Congratulations on getting this experience, and hoping it leads to even better ones!

I just went outside to try yanking again at my outdoor Christmas light stakes that have been frozen solid & unmoving in the ground since early December.

    They came right up!!!!!
Whoopeeeee!!! Warm weather is on it's way.

I know how you feel! I spent all day yesterday and today doing yard work. I'm exhausted, but happy.

I'm heading to the Eugene Marathon, an event with 9000 runners and walkers. I'm going to be in the half and will walk as fast as this old body will go! The weather looks to be good, not too hot nor too cold or wet and I feel ready. I think this is good news to share! It should be a fun event.

The half marathon was great fun today! Well, it was work, too, but so much fun to finish! I am back to the reality of housework and facing a busy week at my job.
