On my daughter's recommendation I got an Eagle's Nest Outfitters double nest hammock out of parachute fabric. It fits into a small pouch attached on the side. I also got their "slap straps" that go around any two trees with a choice of loops to clip the hammock onto. Couldn't be easier. We found two trees the perfect width apart at the head of the trail into the woods just below my garden. Wonderful!!!! I worked in the garden, took a break in the hammock with a book, worked a little more on the yard, hammock time, etc. Hard to imagine a more perfect set up.

Happiness is finding unused gift cards.

I went to visit my dad in Venice, FL for the holidays and in-between the bustle of getting Christmas cards sent out, getting gifts from office parties and friends, attending lots of holiday parties, baking holiday goodies, etc, I never did get stuff put away after the holidays. I was going through sacks and boxes in the living room this weekend and came across a Best Buy gift card and a Starbucks gift card I had forgotten I'd received! I just used the Best Buy card to get the complete Hogan's Heroes dvd set so I can now throw out all of the VHS tapes I recorded years ago. I might use the Starbucks card this weekend.

I went to the doctor yesterday and got some great news. Only a few things to improve on, but the things I was concerned about are just fine! PLUS, I have a great lead on a new job project that could involve a career change. It's so exciting! I am so blessed!
