No kidding! Good on your employer! And shame on the insurance company. I'd be threatening to drop them, too, if they aren't covering life-saving medical procedures.
We're leaving tomorrow to cruise through the Panama Canal. It's our most exciting cruise ever, since we've never been to many of the places we'll be stopping. I'm taking my laptop and will be reading the FoRT boards to keep up on my favorite shows . . . so LOTS of details, please!!!!
Best wishes to all.

My Sig. Other came to the US (from Chile) through the locks at age 7 and still has vivid memories of it---of course enhanced by very first ice cream soda since the ship's officers took S.O. ashore in the very American Zone (parents were technically stateless, formerly of Germany, so had to be locked in their cabin during the crossing, but S. O. had been born in Chile). Much more vivid than of the Statue of Liberty, for example. Enjoy!
AZChristian, the cruise sounds so good! I hope you have a fantastic time.
Poppy Fields, the news on your son's upcoming treatment is good, indeed! My state legislator was telling me last week that government sponsored health care would mean we would be told what we could have covered and that they would control our health - how would that be any different that what the insurance companies are doing to us now? Which is what I told him...
A friend of mine had a stem cell transplant last week and she is doing well so far! She is an inspiration to me.
Thanks, everyone, for your good thoughts, wishes and prayers!
