Well, it does make me feel a little better about the situation to be able to tell myself that nepotism is the reason I didn't get the job, and that it didn't have anything to do with my qualifications.It's funny, but I'm pretty sure the only reason I was hired at the restaurant where I'm presently working part time is because my son is a manager there. (yeah, my son is my boss, but he knows better than to boss me around!) I don't like to brag but I can waitress circles around the 20-something idiot that was just hired to replace the last 20-something idiot who only worked 2 months and then quit. I know the general manager passes over people in my age bracket in favor of the younger ones who seem to last about 6 months at the most. I don't get it myself. I guess I'm not supposed to.
But, enough of this. Back to the good news thread.

Also am looking for Harry Potter fabrics. eBay has it in half yard incrents for $12. It's no longer being made.
Am looking for any, but specifically the Hedwig the owl fabric. Going to make crib bedding and a quilt. Have been scouring the net without much luck. Thanks.
