| Re: Share your good news What a happy day, Unk! I'm with Chrelsey-I love the baby smell!! My good news is my officemate got through surgery yesterday. She is recovering nicely. We don't have a prognosis yet, but remain hopeful. |

Blog Entries: 7 | Re: Share your good news I have good news finally! I have been asked to give a talk on the history of military rations and I will get PAID FOR IT!!!! Did you know that Peanut butter and jelly were both military rations in World War two and GI's for the first time, added these two things together and the PB&J sandwich was born. There is no mention before the 1940's of PB&J sandwiches. The GI's liked it so much, they brought that back home with them and it has taken off and made h istory! (thought you might like some interesting trivia that I uncovered  )Famita, Please keep us updated on your co-worker. I'm glad she made it through surgery and will continue to send prayers her way.

And, very interesting about the PB&J . . . so now I know who to thank for all of the extra pounds that I have acquired over the years as a result of my love for PB&J!
