I had my six week OB appointment and I lost 40 lbs in 6 WEEKS!!!! I was shocked. I knew i lost weight after the baby was born but not that much!! During the pregnancy I gained only 12 lbs...(since I was soo sick.) Im so happy...damn breast feeding really does work!
Duke is just a joy! Hes laughing and cooing and rolling over (since 3 weeks) Oh and he sleeps through the night.

He's my lovebug!

Mr. Melitta and I hit 4 out of 5 numbers w/out the mega ball on the Mega Millions drawing last night.

Not a whole lot of money, but $450 more than we had last night when we went to bed! Wonder who the lucky person is that won the whole jackpot...$205 million!

Grandma's bragging rights:

Bailee knows her ABCs (with a couple of inconsequential letters missing)
She can count to 12
Here's the biggie: She knows "itsy bitsy spider" all by herself! Well...she can't seem to remember where the song ends and it tends to go on a few verses too long, but with that precious little voice I could listen to "itsy bitsy" all night long.

(Is this supposed to bring a tear to my eye? Cuz it does.)

You betcha! You show record her and keep it for posterity. I have Lil Rose's 4 your-year-old voice (she's 18 now) doing nursery rhymes recorded on the telephone, and it's precious.
