I was sick, hubby had drank the last 4 I had from a 6 pack I bought weeks ago (I'm not a huge drinker, but a cold beer hits the spot occasionally), I didn't feel like going to the store, but was craving a cold one and hubby had been out of town for work. So I wanted something I didn't have and didn't feel like going to get and it took 2 days before I made it to the store, so when I got my beer it was GOOOOOOOOOD.

Funny thing is that I bought another 6 pack and drank 2 out of them. Hubby got home late WEd. night and I threatened him to leave my other 4 alone. I normally drink beer he doesn't like so I don't know why he got my other 4 (over a 2 day period) instead of getting his own like he usually does. Probably didn't want to go to the store either. So now MY beer is off limits. :lol

In the WOOT!!! WOOT!!!! Department:

Our friends with the band have gotten a really good opportunity from the Bass pro fishing tournaments and will be doing the weigh in gigs providing music for the whole show that surrounds the weigh ins. They currently are only working the Bass tournaments in NC,SC and GA, but if things work out, they could actually start doing more. They've also gotten a lot more in demand from club owners around town and are staying really busy and decided to cut a CD. They showed us the cover art and stuff last night and they have a place on the back where they thank all their special friends that support them and hubby and I are listed as "special friends".

I'm so excited for them to get this opportunity and hope they can do a lot with it. They definetly have the talent.

And I've never been listed on anyone's CD or book before, so I'm EXCITED! :yay

I got the gig after the demo today with the client.! 2 hours + maybe another 1/2 hour. And, she wants me to work on a custom tattoo. And, I may have also sold her on waterslide tats with her daughters name and party.

I was so happy, I went and bought some flowers at Dollar Daze and put them in a vase with some silk flowers to celebrate. Amazing what one can do with $6 bucks. They look so nice because there's still snow outside.

Congrats on the gig Miss Kitty. And those flowers look like a very expensive bouquet. No way does it look like a $6 arrangement.

Ha! but I was thrilled to be thanked by them so publicly. And I'm happy for them as well as they truly deserve to get some exposure as they are a very entertaining group.

misskitty, congrats on the job! I didn't know you were a tattoo artist. That's fantastic!! What a gorgeous arrangement as well.

myrosiedog: It's probably actually tacky to put real flowers and silk flowers together, but I needed a bright pick-me-up after the snowstorm and dreary weather and couldn't afford a real boquet. And you, my dear, are indeed a celebrity! Can you post a photo of the CD cover?

canadian angel: I don't do real tattoos; just bodypaint or glitter tattoos. I can't find a some designs that I want so I'm going to try to make the stencils from scratch. Time will tell if it works out!
