Found a really good sale at Border's last night... got three great books that I've been wanting, plus one just because it was on sale! All hard backs. Spent less than $50 and this makes me terribly happy today for some reason! I love getting a good deal.

I found a tai bo VHS at Goodwill for $1.99. And I got a pair of ankle weights from my friend. So I'm set to start my new (continuing) exercise program. I also found a great pair of brown boots for fall for $6.99. Regular prices for clothing is just ridiculous here.

I also saw my Dr. and got some new meds so I don't get so manic and burn myself out. I hope they work. It's too early to tell. I just want to feel as normal as is possible; which has been quite the challenge the last several years.

    What is normal?

Love a good sale and you can't beat boots for 7 bucks.

Best wishes on the new meds.

    Re: Share your good news

I debated where to post this good/bad news and decided the glass was more than half full, so... went for an oncologist check-up and bloodwork yesterday and there is no sign of my body fighting a cancer recurrence (recent MRI already confirmed that, but you always worry). But my estrogen level was too high (darn my voluptuous curves!) so he's putting me on a stronger estrogen suppressant. I was supposed to replace the other yesterday, but decided I wasn't taking anything until I read up on it (and I JUST refilled the other!!!!!!). So I'm sure some of you know what stripping your body of estrogen means. grrrrr. The rest of you don't want to know.

Gut-great news on the cancer front! As to the other, I always thought estrogen was a good thing.

Not if you're trying to suppress a breast cancer reoccurence.
