I got back from vacation last night--it's the first time I've been able to talk L into going for more than three days or 400 miles, and we went to Yellowstone/ Grand Teton. I was just a tiny bit afraid he might get bored, or be peevy because we had no tv on three days in a row, but we both had a great time! (I think the binoculars I gave him for his birthday helped replace the tube for the time being--he loved looking for animals with them)

And, heard but did not see wolves.
We did visit the wildlife rescue for wounded or orphaned animals that can't be returned to the wild, at Red Lodge MT, and saw bears, wolves, and cougars there among other things, but I don't count them on the 'list'. Still, we had a real American Safari!

I'm glad to hear you and L. had a wonderful trip, queenb!!! I've been thinking about you 'cause it was about a year ago that you came out this way.
