    KC - congrats!!! awesome news

JLuvs - becoming an aunt for the first time is so cool. I have 15 nieces and nephews and I adore them all, but the first one just holds that special place, you know?

Zhora - YAY on your new job

keep the good news coming everyone - I love good news.

I guess my good news is that I made it through my husband's colonoscopy (yes, you read that right. *I* made it through - he was petrified and thought he was going to go ballistic and drove me bananas!.). But came through with no problems whatsoever. yay honey!

    Way to go marybeth!

Congrats to everyone else on their good news!

I have good news/bad news ~ I made it as a finalist to one of the programs I applied to (the other one's deadline isn't up until April, so I still gotta wait), but the bad news is that I'll have to wait another month to find out if I actually got in! But hey, I'm one step closer.

Today my son Matt was inducted into Phi Theta Kappa, the International Honor Society for 2 year colleges. He also made the Dean's list for 1st semester. We're really proud of him because he's doing so well compared to how he did in high school, it makes a huge difference when you get to study what you love.

Congrats! I also got a letter of invitation join Phi Theta Kappa, but I haven't decided yet if I'm going to do it. Do you think it could make a difference on a resume? If it does, then I'll probably join. If not, then I don't want to spend the money to join (yes, I'm cheap, lol) You are so right ~ it DOES make a HUGE difference when you are taking classes for something that interests you! When I was in high school, I could care less about my grades, as long as I passed my classes. Now, anything less than an A is unacceptable to me,lol.

Marley ~ what degree is your son pursuing?
