Late to the thread...glad to hear your hubby has a job Rosie. Hopefully, it the first step on the road to where he wants to be. Sorry you feel lousy.

Miss Kitty: my mom just left here to go back to Vancouver which is also having more snow! She can't believe that just a couple of days ago she was swimming in 34C heat. Hee. We have lived in so many cold Canadian mining towns, that I take every chance I have to brag about the weather now. Glad to hear you are enjoying your shut in time.

THanks everyone .We are thrilled he got a job and he's had another 2 interviews this week that look good, but we've been there before. I do hope they come through as they are MUCH better jobs.

What an accomplishment! Many congratulations on your milestone!

My good news is that my Hubby is going to be home for the first time since Thanksgiving. He missed Christmas and the birth of his grand daughter. He is going to see her for the first time tonight on his way home and then again Friday and Sunday. I'm excited for him, can't wait to see pics of him holding her.

Also tomorrow night he gets to have Christmas dinner and open presents. Of coarse its not the same but sometimes that is what happens.

catmom3, I'm happy that your husband is coming home! Is he military? We used to be at Ft. Drum. Now my husband is reserves and retires this year (if they'll let him).

And your husband getting to see his granddaughter and opening presents in the same week must be quite a thrill for him!
Have you done your Green deed for the day?
